BBC 0222 - Path to Net Zero Action Plan

Broxbourne Council is seeking to appoint a consultant to advise the Council on the strategic direction and key milestones to achieve carbon net zero within a realistic time frame. The first stage will be to review the Council's preliminary carbon emissions baseline. These should then be used to provide a costed strategy for moving forward to achieve net zero . The Council has not declared a climate change emergency, instead sustainability has been identified as a corporate priority. The Council are looking to have an agreed, final plan by July / August 2022.
