Bonnymead Destination Play Area Project

The Town Council is aspiring to create a flagship destination at this location that attracts local residents as well as visitors from outside the immediate area. This tender for the replacement of the existing play area with a flagship destination for play is the first phase in delivering this aspirational vision. The council is considering significant investment into a number of other enhancements across the site in addition to the play area. They may include car park improvements, a seasonal café or tuck shop, water play, improvement to sports and fitness provision. These are in early stages of feasibility and are yet to be fully determined, they fall outside the scope of this tender, however they are mentioned here to give context to the importance of this destination and the flagship play area that is to be created here.
