Description
The Client Kingston upon Hull City Council is in the process of standardising and improving its Building Access Control systems across its property assets. This contract is for the replacement of remaining "Tyco C-Cure" systems and Paxton Switch 2 systems (non-networked) across Eighteen sites, to Paxton Net 2 systems, thus allowing for a standard internal network-based system to coincide with the Councils security protocols. It is expected that much of the existing C-Cure system wiring (where applicable) can be re-used and adapted to operate on the Paxton System and where Maglocks/door locks are in place these can also be re-used along with their power supplies. The project works are across 18 Hull City Council buildings, all of which are occupied, operational and serve the public. The winning contractor will be expected to liaise closely with the Project Manager, client and building managers with regard s to the programming and delivery of the works to minimise disruption and impact on the services offered. Safeguarding will need to be considered at some sites due to the nature of the services offered and health and safety of the staff, public and visitors will be key across all sites.
