Award of Ceredigion - Rooftop Solar PV's Installation

Ceredigion County Council is awarding to a qualified and competent Contractor to undertake the full installation of photovoltaic solar panels at six total sites within Ceredigion. Ysgol Bro Sion Cwilt in Synod Inn, Ysgol Y Dderi in Llangybi, Ysgol Penllwyn in Capel Bangor, Ysgol Llanarth, Ysgol Llanilar and Canolfan Steffan in Lampeter.Subject to successful delivery of the initial installations, Ceredigion County Council intend to instruct the successful tenderer to undertake additional Solar PV projects at other locations. The award decision for this contract was made on 11 November 2025, with the standstill period conducted via eTenderWales concluding at midnight on 20 November 2025. This contract award notice is being published retrospectively due to administrative delay. All procurement processes, including the standstill period, were completed in accordance with the applicable regulations at the time of award. The contract commenced on 19 January 2026 and is now anticipated to conclude on 24 August 2026. The contract signature date recorded in this notice reflects system validation requirements rather than the actual date of contract execution.
