Description

1.3 This will be a high profile event at which up to 30 Heads of State or Government are expected to attend and will take place at The Grove Hotel, Hertfordshire. 1.4 The organisational and logistical demands will be considerable. It is imperative that the UK and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) maintain their high reputation for the organisation and delivery of international events with delegate experience at the forefront of the planning. It is therefore incredibly important that the successful company delivers to an extremely high standard, on time and within budget. Costs should reflect excellent value for money coupled with this high standard of delivery. 1.5 The UK Government (HMG) is looking to appoint one prime contractor or consortia to support us in the delivery of a successful NATO Summit. We will select the lead or prime contractor via competitive tender from Lot 2 of Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Communications Service Framework RM3796. The authority (UK Government) will be expecting to work with a single Operating Manager, who will take full responsibility for the contract as a whole. The winning contractor will assist in the production of conference facilities and media activities.
