Description
NE intend on commissioning a survey to monitor the intertidal rock sub feature of the WNNC SAC against 5 of its attributes. This survey is intended to collect evidence on the intertidal rock sub-feature in order to fill current evidence gaps and verify existing data. This will enable NE to fulfil its statutory duty in monitoring designated sites and providing expert evidence to support environmental decision-making and management, including condition assessment of the subfeature. The project must aim to deliver a report which should detail high quality biotope data (identified to EUNIS Habitat Classification level 5 & 6) to describe the presence and distribution of biological communities in the intertidal habitats at The WNNC SAC, which can be compared to previous and future. surveys are conducted between mid-April and Mid-October with a final report being rpovide by february 2027
