Description
The Council was seeking a supplier to provide the removal and relocation of nuisance vehicles (i.e. vehicles parked in contravention of parking restrictions and abandoned vehicles), supporting the Traffic Management Act 2004, the Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act 1978, Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Act 1986 and the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2007 for Parking and the Vehicle, Excise and Registration Act 1994 for Untaxed Vehicles and supports the authorities strategy for maintaining a cleaner, safer environment for residents and visitors The procurement consists of a 3 year term with an optional extension of 2 years. Initial contract value for first year is £439,669.30 with estimated value across 3 year term of £1,319,007.90.
