Description
Bikeability supports children to learn to cycle and after Bikeability are more likely to cycle to school or cycle for leisure. Developing these skills at an early age increases the likelihood these children will remain active as an adult. The programme supports the active travel and climate emergency agendas through encouraging a mode shift to cycling for active travel. The Bikeability Trust administer the Bikeability programme on behalf of the Department for Transport.
