Brief Description of Requirement BEIS wishes to understand how the future deployment of offshore wind farms (OWF) in and around Liverpool Bay SPA impacts the abundance and distribution of these birds within the SPA. A greater understanding of the potential impacts of offshore wind development on diving birds will enable greater certainty of impact within EIA and HRA assessments. Greater certainty will facilitate easier consenting decisions, enabling 2030 ambitions and net zero targets to be met.
