G5-1_HCC_128 Five Lanes, Four Marks

A call-off from Lot 1 of the Generation 5 Civil Engineering, Highways & Transportation Collaborative Framework 2024 - 2028 (award notice published 01 February 2024). Works will comprise footway improvement on Kitwood Road and drainage improvement works on Hawthorn Road. Kitwood Road - works primarily consist of footway widening adjacent to the school, footway widening and junction narrowing at the Lymington Bottom Road junction and gateway signing improvements. Hawthorn Road - both ditches will be expanded, additional gullies provided at the junction with a new overflow connection from the ditch going in the verge and discharging into a deep bore soakaway chamber in the school playing fields.
