Description
Consultants Services - Building Services It is anticipated the construction work will be procured as a design and build contract and this ITT seeks to scope the services from RIBA Plan of Work Stages 2-3, including the production of Employers Requirements documents for tender to construction companies. The review of tenders received will also form the basis of works undertaken within RIBA Stage 3. Technical design of the building, in accordance with RIBA Stage 4 will form the responsibility of the appointed Contractor. The council will require advice from a services consultant to check the ongoing Contractors Proposals and commissioning of the built systems. The consultant may submit a fee within the scope below to undertake that scope but SCDC reserve the right to use alternative organisations to undertake those roles during RIBA Stage 4-6 inclusive The scope of any appointment under this ITT therefore may not extend beyond the end of Stage 3.
