Water Rescue Equipment and Services

His Majestys Coastguard (HMCG) through the Coastguard Rescue Service (CRS) provides Search and Rescue (SAR) capabilities operating within the littoral area of the coast and certain designated inland waterways in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. All Coastguard Rescue Teams are provided with training and equipment to deliver SAR operations; Casualty care (First aid, casualty packaging, evacuation, rescue Stretchers), Search, Water Safety and Rescue including Flooding to support Civil Contingencies. The awarded contract will enable HMCG to purchase water safety/rescue and associated equipment in line with the business plan to maintain a professional, high quality response capability to life-saving emergencies in our search and rescue region. The requirement was procured by the form of Direct Award via KCS Procurement Services - Emergency Response, Rescue Equipment and Associated Services framework (reference - Y23046).
