Description
The requirement includes the supply, installation of 3 in number double sided hydraulic work stations as per the specification table. Additionally there will be a requirement to provide initial operator training to DSMarE instructors and a yearlong warranty for the equipment. Each work station shall have the capability to undertake practical maintenance and design tasks of hydraulic systems. Equipment must also allow for isolation of services. Equipment must allow practical assessments of students to be undertaken. Each workstation must demonstrate - Design, function and most important characteristics of a hydraulic power unit, Setting the direction and speed of rotation of a hydraulic motor, Design, mode of operation and areas of application of 2/2, 3/2, 4/2 and 4/3-way solenoid valves, as well as 4/2-way double solenoid valves. The equipment must allow the required measurements to be recorded to permit - Recording and interpreting the characteristic curve of a hydraulic pump, Identifying and calculating times, pressures and forces during advancing and retracting of a cylinder. Installation of the equipment in Morell Building, HMS SULTAN.
