Description

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is tendering a contract to design and install new play equipment at Hurlingham Park, Fulham, London. We wish to replace selected items of old equipment and install new play equipment, street furniture and landscaping within the footprint of the existing play area. The design should have a ‘water’ or ‘river’ theme, expressed through the design of equipment and ground markings. Equipment may be composed of a variety of materials, including timber, metal and synthetic or composite materials. We require a proposal for the design and installation of new equipment and features which will be suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities and include street furniture and tree planting. Proposals must be robust and easily maintained. Equipment must meet BS EN 1176, impact attenuating surface must meet BS EN 1177.
