Description
The City of Wolverhampton Council has commissioned a Domiciliary Care Service and a Home-based Respite for Carers Service. The aim of the Domiciliary Care service is to enable people to remain living as independently as they can be in their own homes through the provision of personal care and support. The aim of the Home-based Respite Service is to provide a holistic model of respite care that improves the quality of life for family/informal carers by enabling them to have a short break from their caring role with the opportunity to spend the time as they wish. The contract will be serviced by 12 main providers, with 19 'approved' call off list to support spot placements.
