Framework Agreement for the provision of Vegetation Clearance

Somerset County Council (SCC) is looking to set up a Framework Agreement primarily for the routine clearance of vegetation from adjacent banks or land within the curtilage of the Rights of Way within the county of Somerset. The Council has a statutory duty to ensure the public rights of way network is available and easy to use. There is in excess of 6000km of public rights of way in Somerset. In addition, SCC may request quotations for Ad Hoc vegetation clearance works which will not be offered under any single lot but shall be available for all appointed suppliers under all lots to be able to bid for as further described within the procurement documents available on the portal https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk
