Provision of Routine Grounds Maintenance of Countywide Sites

Cumbria County Council is inviting tenders for the routine grounds maintenance of all corporate sites Countywide. The proposed strategy for grounds maintenance for all corporates sites is to procure these on the basis of two geographical areas West - Allerdale, Copeland & Barrow and East - Carlisle, Eden & South Lakes. Sites in scope include Offices, Libraries, Care Homes, Day Centres, Fire Stations and open spaces. At present there are around 166 sites including Offices, Care Homes, Fire Stations, Day Centres and Libraries within this contract However, this number may reduce over the term of the contract as the Council implements its Asset Management & Carbon Management Strategies.
