DUD - BCI - HGV & LGV Training - AWARD

To enable a customer to gain knowledge, and practical experience through the LGV training to enable the customer to gain a medical, complete theory test and LGV practical test in order to gain the licence so that they can drive a heavy goods vehicle and access employment within the industry. The LGV Course should cover the following topics: o Drivers hours laws and Tachographs. o Manual Handling and Preventing Physical Risk. o First Aid and Actions in an Emergency. o Safe Loading and Vehicle Checking. o Drivers legal responsibility. o Drivers Issues and Conflict Management. o Safe Eco Driving, Including other road users. o Heath and Safety, driver and Manager Awareness. o Fuel Efficient Driving and Safe Loading.
