Description
Devon County Council has a requirement to replace an existing brine saturator at its winter service depot in Honiton. The site has an existing single-phase electricity and water supply along with a reinforced concrete pad 3m x 3m for the saturator to be sited. The requirement is for the supply, installation* and commissioning of a pre-owned automated brine making facility for this site. The pre-owned saturator is not to have been used for more than most recent two winter seasons. It is desirable that these units are available promptly and before for this coming winter maintenance season with both saturators fully installed and commissioned by 30th September 2021. Due to uncertainties over future winter service levels this unit may need to be capable of being relocated or expanded to operate at a new location. * DCC recognise that in respect of certain types of equipment a formal installation may not be required.
