Description
Remodelling and extension works to existing 1960s village hall in Blewbury, Didcot, Oxfordshire. Works include: Energy upgrades to building fabric and a mixture of new external finishes over the insulation layer including timber cladding and render. PVs array added to south facing roof elevation. New passive-stack ventilation added above main hall. Main hall floor replaced with sprung timber floor suitable for dance and badminton. Timber wall cladding to hall to integrate/conceal all heating, ventilation and audio appliances. Creation of new primary façade with feature entrance canopies. Relocation of Post Office and locum GP surgery. New external doors and windows throughout. Replacement lighting throughout. Strip out and replace toilets, reform and install new kitchen. External works include removal of trees, new paved path to north west elevation, demarcation of parking layout on existing hardstanding, drainage alterations, and new boundary fencing to some areas with pedestrian pass gates.
