Construction of new Community Centre at School Green, Shinfield

SHINFIELD PARISH COMMUNITY CENTRE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Shinfield Parish Council is seeking suitably qualified Construction Companies to undertake the expansion of the existing Parish Centre in School Green, Shinfield. The Council has secured funding for the scheme and Planning consent is expected in August 2019. The works comprise the demolition of the existing British Legion building and the adjacent site and the construction of a new building together with refurbishment and additions to the existing Parish Centre and associated external works and drainage. The estimated Construction Cost is £2.2million It is proposed to tender the works to a selected group under a traditional procurement with a BQ and supporting specifications and drawings. the proposed form of Contract will be the JCT Intermediate Form 2016 with CDP elements.
