The Outlook for Heritage 2020-2045 - AWARD

Historic England is seeking horizon-scanning advice on the main drivers of change affecting the historic environment sector in England on both 10-year and 25-year timescales. This will help not only Historic England itself but also sector partners to anticipate and prepare for change so that heritage sector will be both more resilient and better able to plan strategically. We are as interested in drivers of societal change as we are in economic and environmental change. A three-year contract is envisaged under which the Year 1 report will be reviewed and refreshed annually. We anticipate this to be a relatively quick piece of work. Our expectation, therefore, is that the final product will be submitted by 31 March 2020.
