Harrow Road Community Champions Project

Community Champions are local volunteers who are engaged and trained to help and support their communities to improve health, wellbeing and community cohesion. They show how local people can work together with services and providers to improve quality and outcomes for communities. The Community Champions Programme adopts an asset-based and community development (ABCD) approach to improving health and wellbeing and tackling health inequalities. The Harrow Road project links together with similar existing projects in Westminster and others across RBKC to form the (Bi-Borough) Community Champions Programme. The contract is due for recommissioning which is planned for this Autumn this year.
