Description

RBWM is exploring options in relation to a tree preservation order (TPO) project. The borough has some 2000 TPOs, some of which contain anomalies or potential errors. They require investigation and the orders may need modifying to ensure they align with reality (e.g. whether there is even a particular tree existing to protect). This data alignment and collection activity constitutes the first part of the project. There is then a second part which looks at accessibility and sharing this information on RBWM's website (along with updated mapping/spacial information) for residents. There may be a sub-set of the 2000 (e.g. very recent TPOs) which do not require inspection; this is yet quantified to a nicety. RBWM is also exploring in-house options and is not committing to running a procurement process at this stage. At this juncture, RBWM is keen to explore market interest and, critically, explore tentative costings for this project. Interested suppliers should assume that all 2000 require some inspection and should present a total indicative cost (to include the transparency work in the latter part of the project). Any expressions of interest and potential costings should be e-mailed to joey.stanford@rbwm.gov.uk by 12/03 (1pm). Please ask any questions.
