Description

Framework with Direct Award for members Cumbria Housing Partners (CHP) is a member owned group of five housing associations. CHP are the shared procurement service acting on behalf of its members. This framework opportunity applies to three of the members: 1. Castles and Coasts Housing: operating in North East England in Newcastle and Sunderland and Cumbria in Carlisle, Allerdale, Eden and Copeland with 7,000 properties. 2. Eden Housing: operating in Cumbria in Eden, Carlisle, Maryport and South Lakeland with 1,982 properties. 3. South Lakes Housing: operating in Cumbria in South Lakeland with 3,100 properties. The members of CHP currently use multiple service providers within their businesses operating under varied service schedules and differing service standards. We will award a framework with a single entity. Individual call-off contracts will then be signed by each member. CHP requires the successful tenderer to be able to provide maintenance, servicing and repairs as required to its passenger lifts, domestic stair lifts, domestic in floor platform lifts and domestic hoists for its member within their properties. The current schedule contains to the best of our knowledge all of the equipment know to be in existence within the membership involved in this procurement. Should additional equipment be identified then we reserve the right to add such items at locations within the geographical boundaries operated within by the membership at any time.
