Description
The Contractor will research and develop a set of national standards for adult digital skills from entry level 1 - level 2, that: - are based upon the basic digital skills in the 'Get Digital' basic skills framework. The Tech Partnership in conjunction with Lloyds Bank are currently updating this framework. - ensure an inclusive and balanced engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including employers, practitioners, subject specialists and digital inclusion charities and organisations. - have strong employer and sector buy-in, including digital stakeholders and learner representatives. - build upon existing national standards. - allow qualifications built upon standards to align with the Regulated Qualification Framework. - provide a solid foundation for awarding organisations to develop the next generation of basic digital skills qualifications. - reflect any required changes to the standards identified through the Department's Consultation.
