Description
Crawley Borough Council (the Council) invites tenders for the provision of Traffic Management Services as set out in the tender documents for this procurement exercise. The Council are responsible for clearing all publicly owned ground of litter, including along highways where traffic management services may be required in order to ensure operatives can safely carry out their duties. Traffic management services are also required along certain roads where the Councils undertake grass cutting and other maintenance services. In addition, the Council carries out periodic grass cutting and street sweeping along certain high speed roads on behalf of West Sussex County Council. The Council has mainly required traffic management on the A23, A264, A2011 and A2220 high speed dual carriageways in the past; however, this is not exclusive of any other roads that may require traffic management measures during the contract term. The Commencement Date for the delivery of the services is scheduled to be on 01 October 2026 at 00:00 hours. The Contract will be awarded for a period of 3 years until 30 September 2029, with an option to extend for a further 2-year period subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Council until 30 September 2031.

The Tender documents can be accessed when logged into In-Tend by selecting ‘View Details’ on the relevant tender advert and clicking the ‘Express Interest’ tab.
