Description
The overall aim of the Mental Health and/or Autism Community Enablement Service is to provide early intervention for people who are living with mental ill health and/or autism. The service should be provided in a way that supports people to be as independent as possible. The overarching aims are to: • Build on people's strengths and self-resilience • Promote choice and control • Improve people's quality of life • Improve financial resilience through encouraging people to gain support to seek paid employment when this is appropriate. • Support carers/family where appropriate • Prevent the need for long term care • Reduce hospital admission
