Description
This Contract Award Notice is to inform the market that a short-term contract has been awarded to The Stroke Association by the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board. The Stroke Association has been previously commissioned within West Essex CCG (now part of the Herts and West Essex ICB) since 2014. The service supports the recovery of stroke survivors providing information, support and advice. Planning for a procurement exercise has commenced for a new contract. This contract is for a short-term (6 month) service which will provide continuity of service for our patients whilst the ICB undertakes a full review of the service and completion of a robust procurement process. The value of the 6 month extension is £24,858 (excluding VAT). Cumulatively, since 2014, the value of the contract is £411,364 (inclusive of the value for this extension).
