Description
Public Health England (PHE) has awarded JEOL with the servicing and maintenance of a JEM 1400 transmission electron microscope (TEM) and ancillary equpiment (digital camera, microscope chiller, UPS and ultramicrotome) which is used to provide a routine diagnostic service, research EM as well as an emergency response. JEOL is the only company capable of servicing the major piece of equipment in this service agreement which is the TEM. The TEM is computer controlled and the JEOL engineers are the only people who have the codes that enable them to access the system to the level required to diagnose problems and make changes to the system.
