Description
'Blended Counselling' means that children and young people access targeted and short-term mental health interventions either face to face or online. The West Sussex service forms part 'Getting Help' offer and is an integral part of the children and young people mental health and emotional wellbeing pathway of care. This function provides specific interventions focused on agreed mental health outcomes for children and young people. An intervention is any form of help related to a mental health need in which a paid-for professional takes responsibility for input directly with a specified individual or group. The professional may not necessarily be a trained mental health provider but may be a range of people who can provide targeted, outcomes-focused help to address the specific mental health issue. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Award Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This award is for a maximum period of 24 months, from 1/10/24 to 30/9/26 with the option to extend for a further 24 months until 30/9/28. The service value is £627,088.00 per annum.
