Description
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Client) requires a contractor to maintain the nurse call systems to a high standard to minimise the potential for system failures, thereby reducing risks to patient care. The objective of this contract is to ensure the continuous operation of the nurse call systems, which are critical for patient safety and wellbeing at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, City Hospital. Although it is not a legal requirement to service the nurse call systems, regular maintenance is essential to reduce the risk of faults and system downtime, ensuring they function effectively when needed most. The City Hospital currently lacks the internal capacity to service and maintain these systems, making it necessary to engage an external contractor. Static Systems Group Limited has been identified as a primary supplier, being the sole contractor to respond and have the capabilitties to undertake the servcie through the competitive quotation process. The procurement process involved inviting multiple contractors to quote, but only Static Systems Group Limited responded. The contract period is from 14 February 2024 and will be for a term of 24 months.
