UKRI-1120 PS OPCPA Seed Laser

The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), a component Research Council of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), is a world-leading multi-disciplinary science organisation, whose goal is to deliver economic, societal, scientific and international benefits to the UK and its people — and more broadly to the world. UKRI, the contracting authority, wishes to purchase a minimum of one laser system that will be used as the seed for a picosecond OPCPA pre-amplifier that will provide amplified pulses with an energy of up to 2mJ, as part of the EPAC Project. The minimum scope of the contract is for the supply of one laser system, with the ability to purchase up to an additional two laser systems at a later date. Please note, the estimated value of the opportunity is: £140K or £192K ex-VAT for the initial purchase. A maximum potential spend of up to £700,000.00 ex-VAT to account for additional purchases or contractual options that may be exercised.
