The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is commissioning an evidence review in the form of a Rapid Evidence Assessment (REA) into the impact of flooding and coastal erosion on agriculture in England and Wales. The aims are to review existing evidence: • on the impact and effect of flooding and coastal erosion on agriculture land and businesses in England and Wales, • on the quantified costs and benefits of past, present and potential future flooding and coastal erosion mitigations on agriculture land and businesses in England and Wales.
