Description
Nottingham Trent University is seeking Tenders from Suppliers who are capable of providing high-quality services including, Specialist Study Skills Support for students with Specific Learning Difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Specialist Mentoring Support for students with Mental Health Difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions. The University is also interested in seeking tender submissions from Suppliers capable of providing 1-1 training for students on assistive technology software and hardware. Due to the ever-changing nature of the work environment and external driving factors, the University needs to increase access to this service provision for students with different sources of funding including those on funded apprenticeships, those in receipt of the Disabled Students Allowance (normally those completing PhDs) and international students. The appointed Suppliers to the Framework Agreement shall ensure that staff providing the 1-1 services are meet the requirements of the Disabled Students Allowance Non-Medical Helper Mandatory Qualifications Criteria. The University is setting up an Open Framework, which is a series of successive frameworks as defined by the Act. This is the framework 1 of the scheme. There are a maximum of two frameworks under this open framework. This competition is for the award of framework one in the scheme of frameworks. Framework one will have a contract period of 36 months. Framework two will have a contract period of 60 months. The open framework will last 8 years in total. Any subsequent extension to the Framework will be agreed between NTU and the appointed Suppliers. It is likely that NTU will seek the Supplier/s to demonstrate improvements to the services and/or price reductions before considering an extension. For any extension(s) to the Framework, discussions with Supplier(s) to arrive at an agreed position shall be conducted sufficiently far in advance of the expiry date.
