Description
LOT 1: The provision of a Direct Payment Support Service to provide support services to Adults and Children at LCC and LPFT (mental health) who have chosen to take a direct payment. LOT2: The provision of a Direct Payment Support Service to provide support services to Lincolnshire CCG. The support encompasses the following a front loaded support service that provides information, advice and guidance service to all people in receipt of a Direct Payment to: • Work strategically with the Council/CCG to enable people to move to the most appropriate level of support for them taking into account the other Direct Payment support services commissioned by the Council (LOT1) and Lincs CCG(LOT2) and facilitating the individuals' path to independence. • provide a fully managed service account • provide training and support for individuals to become Employers with training and recruitment of Personal Assistants • set up mandatory training and signpost to other required training resources for Personal Assistants • signpost and provide guidance on appropriate Insurances • provide access to a Payroll service • act as a Suitable Person where needed • disseminate best practice through partnerships • Establish support networks
