Short Stay Respite Services for Adults With Learning Disabilities

The contract objectives are to secure new short stay service that:Provides a planned or emergency break for carers to help sustain them in their continuing role as primary carers as reflected in the Carer’s Assessment and Action Plan.Provides a short stay service to individuals in need of emergency accommodation and reassessment of their long term housing and care options.Meet the individually assessed needs of the person who will receive the service as reflected in their person centred care plan.The service will achieve a balance between providing care in a suitable environment together with the ability to be increasingly responsive to meeting the changing personal needs, expectation and the choices exercised by the individual service users and their carers.
