Description
Following a bespoke, single-stage competitive process, akin to the Open Procedure, conducted in accordance with Schedule 3 of the PCR 2015, NHS Manchester CCG, NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale CCG and NHS Tameside and Glossop CCG (as the Contracting Authorities) have concluded Direct Access MRI contracts with a total of two Providers to deliver MRI provision across the three Greater Manchester localities. The two contracts commenced 1st October 2021 for a period of three years, until 30th September 2024, with the option to extend for a further two years until 30th September 2026. Contracts were awarded to the two highest scoring, compliant, bidders within each GM locality, identified as delivering the overall best value for money service. The contracts are zero value, with no guaranteed minimum activity or funding levels.
