Skate Park/Outdoor Gym/Running Track

Salford Priors Parish Council is looking for an innovative scheme which will provide additional play / fitness opportunities and challenges for children, teenagers and adults alike. The scheme should demonstrate that each item of equipment and the overall design: 1. Offers physically challenging play and exercise which will develop physical strength and ability 2. Encourages social interaction between all age groups and abilities 3. Offers a range of opportunities for play and exercise which will include balance, coordination, strength and aerobics 4. Is designed to be inclusive where possible 5. Makes the best use of space available 6. Is attractive to other users of the playing field 7. Should seek to enhance its setting within the existing landscape 8. Employs natural materials as far as possible and must blend with style and 'feel' of existing playground equipment Requirements include: New skatepark Outdoor gym Trim track Multi-goal / basketball set Enhancements & repairs to existing play equipment
