Description
The accommodation should be suitable for those who live in Independent Supported Living and/or Extra Care. The accommodation provider (or landlord) should offer a home to a person, and may offer this home using different tenure options. Those who live in the accommodation should have an assessed adult social care need and be described as either an older person, someone with a physical disability, learning disability or mental health need. The care provider should offer a care and support provider to a person; in their home, the communal space of the accommodation and as specified within the person's Support Plan. The accommodation and care provider service may be offered by the same organisation. All services delivered should meet the requirements of the DPS' Service Specification and should be provided in a manner consistent with the Standards and Quality Assurance.
