INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ENTRANCE, REPLACEMENT ROOF COVERINGS AND ASSOCIATED REMEDIAL WORKS.

Opened in 1994 the current Tadley and District Community Centre replaced the original community building that was a former US Air Force gymnasium. The Community Centre comprises two main halls with various meeting rooms, kitchen and café area. The Centre is typically open from 8am - 8pm and is used by a variety of people and groups. Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council ('the Council') is seeking to appoint a suitable contractor to undertake the demolition of the existing and construction of a new lobby and foyer together with the replacement of the roof covering to the two main halls and flat roof to the valley gutter along with all remedial and associated works.
