Carers Representation Service

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP Council) require a Representation Service for Carers who are responsible for caring for adults with a learning disability that reside in the BCP conurbation.\r \r The service will be provided to enable Carers to share their experiences, benefit from peer support and shape Learning Disability and Carers services in the BCP area.\r \r The purpose of the service is to:\r \r • Provide an Independent Support Service for carers of adults with a learning disability.\r • To enable Carers to participate in the planning, development and monitoring of Learning Disability Services and Carers Services.\r • To promote personal development and participation of Carers in social activities.\r • To enhance Carers quality of life and maximise choice and opportunity\r \r It is anticipated that the contract will start 1st June 2023.
