Description

East Sussex County Council (ESCC) is issuing this Invitation to Tender as a Further Competition under Lot 3 - Financial Wellbeing Schemes of ESPO's Staff Benefits Framework (reference 319_19) to complement the existing wellbeing and benefits offer to employees. Brighton and Hove City Council (B&HCC) are also named as they may take advantage of the service at a later stage under a separate contract, however at this point there is no guarantee. Both councils consider the health and wellbeing of staff to be the key to its ability to deliver high quality services to the people of East Sussex and Brighton & Hove. In addition, the provision of high-quality staff benefits is an important part of our overall reward and recognition strategy, which aids recruitment and retention and helps ensure that the councils are employers of choice. Both councils are aware that poor financial wellbeing can lead to poor psychological wellbeing and higher stress and anxiety levels, and on that basis we would like to improve our current financial wellbeing offering to our employees. The Councils are looking for a provider who can: - offer low cost, payroll deducted loans to our employees - offer a low cost, payroll deducted savings option to our employees - support and educate our employees on how to improve and manage their finances
