Description
The PCH M&E Lifecycle Replacement Project works are for the replacement of the life expired MEP systems throughout the building as detailed within the Scope and based on a case-by-case assessment to repair, enhance, replace, or renew each system throughout the building including heating, cooling, water, fire, and ventilation systems. The contractor is responsible for developing the design to RIBA Stage 4 specific. The contract is in two stages and allows for Early Contractor Involvement (ECI). The total contract value covers Stage 1 (ECI) (value: £5,920,669.37), and Stage 2 (partial tendered value: £18,810,958.80). The full value of Stage 2 will only be known at the end of Stage 1, once the design is complete. The estimated value of the entire contract (Stage 1 and Stage 2) is between £40m and £50m.
