GB-London: Research into recent dynamics of the press sector in the UK and globally

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is seeking to appoint a Supplier to undertake research into the press market, both in the UK and globally. In particular we would like to understand: 1) The relationship between local news consumption and democratic engagement. 2) The different forms of government support, including subsidies, that the press industry receives in other jurisdictions.
