Description
CPI have a requirement to create two usable areas from a redundant transformer room at the Neville Hamlin Building facility, Sedgefield. The redundant transformer has been removed and the room is now empty. The plan is to use the room as a storage area (1st Floor) and a workshop area (Ground Floor). The proposal is to utilise this space, which is currently open from floor to ceiling height, to create 2 useable areas. The ground floor to be used as a workshop area and the first floor (following the installation of a mezzanine structure and other works) to be used as a spare's storage area. The works will involve supply and installation of a mezzanine floor, structural works including installation of a door opening, electrical works, fire detection, joinery to existing doors and application to local council for building regs compliance.
