Description
The Council serves Enforcement Notices in order to comply with planning regulations. To ensure actions are taken the Council requires a contract for direct action where Enforcement Notices aren't complied with by the recipient. The service requirements are in accordance with Section 178 of the Town and Country Planning Act Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (legislation.gov.uk). SCOPE OF SERVICES Given the type of work involved and the dynamic nature of the services/work that may be required the Council cannot be precise as to its requirements as each order placed under the contract will require a bespoke quote to be provided. In general, the services and works are required for the enforcement of planning control, following an enforcement notice being served and not complied with. For this reason a site visit to allow a detailed quotation for undertaking the works/service to be raised will be required for each case. The most common services/work required are: Building and construction Vehicles and mobile equipment and property Management of goods (e.g. removal and storage) Other Professional services
