A call-off from Lot 2 (East) of the Generation 5 Civil Engineering, Highways &Transportation Collaborative Framework 2024 - 2028 (award notice published 01 February 2024). The Upper Street scheme work package comprises the delivery of raised tables and continuous footways across several roads in Fleet. The works focus on improving road safety and accessibility, including measures to enhance cycle movements through better-defined carriageway space and traffic calming features. The scheme also includes the removal of two-way running on Upper Street to mitigate the risk of collisions at the Upper Street / Albert Street junction
