Award of North Tyneside Carers' Centre - Adult Carer Services

AWARD ONLY OF:- North Tyneside Carers continued care services. Under the Care Act 2014, local authorities have specific duties in relation to meeting carers needs including the provision of quality information and advice with specific reference to the wellbeing of both the person needing care and their carer. A key element of the wellbeing principle is the provision of preventative services including those services which help prevent, delay or reduce the development of care and support needs, including carers' support needs.
