Description
Southampton City Council are looking to appoint a training organisation via quotation to provide training and mentoring support to COVID-19 Participatory Researchers in Southampton. The overall aim of the service, will consist of the following key requirements: • Planning the delivery of the training and mentoring programme • Agreeing the final programme and timescale with the SCC lead and CPAR co-ordinator • Being responsible for the delivery of the programme and its objectives in line with the agreed timescale • Providing monthly update reports to SCC and CPAR co-ordinator over the course of the project • Engaging community researchers and seeking feedback on their experience of the training and mentoring at regular intervals, reporting findings to SCC. The training programme will be delivered over a period of approximately 40 hours and will need to be flexible to adapt to the needs of the researchers, accessible and inclusive with a supportive approach and align strategically with wider community engagement and development research.
